Miles gained an interest in business management while operating a family
business from 1984 - 1994. Having had first hand experience of the
challenges that small business owners face, Miles began providing
benefits, retirement & estate planning solutions to this demographic.
Along the way, it became apparent that the rising cost of college was a
major roadblock for many. As Miles learned more about the college
planning process, he came to this realization:

After about 250 study hours, Miles obtained his Certified College
Planning Specialist (CCPS) designation. Now, in addition to helping
individuals safely plan for retirement, he also helps them to avoid several

Letha Costin
Vice President of Innovative Advisors, Inc.
From 1986 - 2001, Letha spent the majority of her time as an educator,
developing and delivering product and systems training for thousands of
employees in a major corporation.
When Letha joined Innovative Advisors in 2001, her experience gave
way to the educational approach that has been adopted by Innovative
Advisors. She is especially gifted in her ability to help students solidify
what they want to accomplish in college. When it comes to helping a
student find the right college, she believes this:
